Artist's Bibliography
T. H. Victor, born on the 6th September 1894 in Penzance, Cornwall, he commonly used the pseudonym 'W. Sands'. Why he did this is unclear, but occasionally artists who were contracted to
paint for specific galleries would earn money on the side by painting under
a false name. A prolific westcountry artist who painted mainly busy harbour
and street scenes. His pictures are characterized by lively composition
and fresh colours.
In later life he owned a shop
in Mousehole.
